The BOSS program offers a variety of events and activities to help Soldiers make the most of their free time. From exciting outdoor adventures to social gatherings and volunteer opportunities, BOSS provides fun, meaningful ways to stay active, meet new people, and enjoy military life.
Local Events and Activities
Recreation and Adventure
• Outdoor trips like hiking and day-trips to local sites (Tombstone coming up in April!)
• Fitness challenges, obstacle courses, and endurance races
Sports and Competitions
• Esports and gaming competitions
• Bowling nights, golf outings, and team-building challenges
Social Gatherings and Entertainment
• Game nights, (Magic The Gathering Fundraiser and Dungeons & Dragons) and movie screenings with the Yardley Movie Night (last Wednesday of the month).
• Holiday parties and themed events (Texas Hold'Em Poker).
Volunteer and Community Service
• Fundraisers for military and local charities
• Food drives, environmental clean-ups, and mentorship programs
• Rucksack Program to support Soldiers in need.
Educational and Life Skills Programs
• Leadership development and career workshops
• Financial readiness and personal growth seminars
• Classes on cooking, car care, horseback riding, and more
