Sunset Trail Rides are offered Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening by reservation (time varies based on season). Reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
- 1-hour guided sunset trail ride
- $60 per rider
- Private party ride packages available for $360 for up to 6 people at normal trail ride times.
- Weight Limit: No more than $220 lbs per horse.
- Helmets required for those under 18, recommended for all others. They will provided if you don't have them.
- Minors must be accompanied by a parent and sign a waiver (7 and up; no double riding).
- Closed toe shoes required, long pants are recommended.
- Please bring your own water.
- Please arrived 20 minutes before your appointment for orientation.

- Riding Lessons

Buffalo Corral provides riding lessons for novice to advanced riders ages 7 and up. Lessons are taught with certified Horsemanship Association Curriculum and offer both Western and English riding lessons. If you have ever wanted to learn the basics of grooming, saddling, and all other aspects of horsemanship then this is for you. Lessons are offered Wednesday - Sunday at a rate of $200 for individual or group lessons. Your registration fee includes one-hour lessons for 4 weeks by appointment.

Ride availability and reservation is based upon the rider's weight and horse availability.
Maximum rider weight is 220 pounds.

All children under 18 must have a liability release signed by a parent or legal guardian. Children must wear a helmet provided by Buffalo Corral Riding Stables.

All patrons must be the sole patrons of the horses they intend to board at the facility. To verify patronship, patrons are required to provide a valid Bill of Sale, registration papers, equine passport, or other official documents that confirm sole patronship. BCRS staff will regularly verify proper identification and patronship documentation to ensure compliance. Boarding of horses for commercial purposes or on behalf of ineligible individuals is strictly prohibited.

Unwind, disconnect, and bond with nature.
Looking for a unique way to de-stress? Join us at the Buffalo Corral for our first-ever Hanging with Horses event! This two-hour evening is dedicated to spending relaxing time outdoors and discovering the unique therapeutic benefits these incredible animals offer to humans.
Please note: This is an unmounted groundwork and bonding experience, not a riding lesson. No previous horse experience is required!

- Date: Friday, November 13, 2026
- Time: 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM (1630–1830)
- Location: Buffalo Corral Riding Stables (Canelo Road, Bldg 13555)
- Cost: $25 per person (credit/debit)
- Who Can Attend: Open to ages 7+, anyone under 18 needs a parent to sign a waiver; under 12 needs a parent with them for the entire event (both paid participants).
- Capacity: Limited to the first 14 participants!
🌟 What to Expect
Learn about the nature of horses, why they behave the way they do, and how they communicate through body language. Attendees can customize their level of interaction:
- Hands-On Bonding: Try your hand at grooming, petting, and leading (walking) the horses.
- Relax & Observe: Prefer to just sit back? You are welcome to pull up a seat and enjoy the peaceful, calming atmosphere of the evening corral. You can even bring your own chairs!
- Q&A and Photos: Plenty of time is built in to converse with staff, ask questions, and take photos with the horses!
🎒 What to Bring & What to Wear
- Mandatory Footwear: Closed-toe shoes (boots or sneakers) are strictly required. (No sandals, flip-flops, or open shoes).
- Attire: Dress comfortably for outdoor fall evening weather.
- Hydration: Bring plenty of water to stay hydrated. (Please note: Outside food and snacks are not permitted around the animals).
- Photos: Don't forget your phone or camera to capture the memories!
- Waiver: A standard MWR liability waiver must be signed upon arrival.
