Volunteer as a Youth Sports Coach

⚽Volunteer as a Youth Sports Coach at Fort Huachuca!⚽

As a Fort Huachuca Child and Youth Services (CYS) Youth Sports Coach, you will serve as a mentor and role model, fostering a safe, fun, and growth-oriented environment where young athletes can explore diverse sports, build athletic skills, and enjoy competing.

You will plan and supervise practices (evenings after 5:00 pm) and games (weekdays after 5:00 pm and/or Saturdays), emphasizing sportsmanship, fitness, team concepts, and fundamental skills.

Core duties include following CYS safety policies, reporting hazards to the Youth Sports Director, and keeping parents informed and engaged. Coaches complete background checks, CYS training, CPR/First Aid training, and NAYS sport-specific training. Coaches earn between 30 and 40 volunteer hours per Season. Application and related documents can be found on our website here
