Welcome to your new home! Let us help you plug into the community.
Moving to a new duty station is an adventure, and we are here to make your transition as smooth as possible! The weekly Newcomers Orientation is a comprehensive, "one-stop" briefing designed to introduce you and your family to the resources, recreation, and support networks available on and off Fort Huachuca.
This event includes an official welcome from the Garrison Commander, followed by briefings from key installation representatives, including:

Financial Readiness, EFMP, USO, CYS/School Liaison Officer, BOSS, Relocation Readiness, DPW Wildlife, Fort Huachuca Museums, Legal, SHARP, and more!

Materials: All participants will receive a physical Welcome Packet tailored for you (Civilian and Active Duty packets will vary). Complimentary water is provided.

🪖 For In-Processing Soldiers (MANDATORY):

This briefing is your mandatory Day 2 In-Processing requirement.

Attendance: You must remain present for the entire 4-hour session unless prior arrangements have been made with the facilitator.

Dress Code: Duty Uniform (OCPs) is strictly required.
👩👩👦 For Spouses, Families, & DoD Civilians (OPTIONAL):

You are warmly invited to attend to learn about your new home!

Flexibility: Civilians are welcome to come and go as they please; you do not have to stay for the entire 4 hours.

Children & Lap-Babies: While official on-site childcare is not provided, children and infants are welcome to sit with you in the briefing.
🛑 Base Access for Civilian Guests
Non-DoD ID cardholders must obtain an installation access pass at the Van Deman Gate Visitor Center prior to attending.
