Join us on Saturday, March 27, 2027, as we march in honor of the heroic service members who defended the Philippine Islands during World War II. Starting at the historic Brown Parade Field, this grueling and deeply meaningful ~23-mile march challenge will push your physical and mental limits .

Whether you choose to march light or carry the heavy load of those who came before us, this event is a powerful tribute to teamwork, history, and perseverance.

📅 Race Day Details & Schedule 

• Date: Saturday, March 27, 2027 

• Location: Brown Parade Field, Fort Huachuca 

• Schedule of Events: 

• 04:30 AM - Rucksack Weigh-in begins (Heavy Category only) 

• 05:00 AM – 05:45 AM - Race Day Packet Pick-up at Brown Parade Field 

• 06:00 AM - March Start 

• 03:00 PM (1500) - Event Concludes / Awards Ceremony 

• Course Distance: Approximately 23 miles 

• Support: There will be 3 manned and 2 unmanned water stops along the route, with a roving monitor vehicle providing support .

🎒 Categories & Divisional Rules 

Choose your division when registering. Online registration only. 

Individual Categories ($35): 

• Heavy Division: Participants must carry a minimum 35 lb (16 kg) rucksack or backpack. Packs will be officially weighed at the start and finish lines. 

• Light Division: Standard running or walking apparel; no rucksack required. 

5-Person Team Categories ($125): 

• Teams must consist of exactly 5 members. To reflect the Bataan principle of leaving no teammate behind, a team is only considered finished if all 5 members cross the finish line within 20 seconds of each other. 

• Team Heavy: All 5 members carry the 35 lb rucksack. 

• Team Light: Standard athletic gear; no rucksacks .

• Registration Begins: February 1, 2027 

• Registration Ends: March 23, 2027 (No in-person registration will be accepted)

📦 Pre-Race Packet Pick-Up 

• Friday, March 26, 2027: 0800 – 1900 at Barnes Field House 

• Note: Your packet contains your bib (which must be worn visibly on your front at all times), pins, and a physical route map  

🚗 Parking & Check-In Staging 

• Parking: Located at the corner of Christy Ave & Butler Rd. The starting point is directly across the street at Brown Parade Field. 

• Weigh-In Staging: Heavy Category participants must weigh their packs at the weigh stations first, then move directly to the designated staging area.

🛑 Base Access for Civilian Participants 

Please note the event takes place on a military installation. In order to enter Fort Huachuca, non-DoD ID cardholders MUST obtain an installation visitor pass prior to race day at the Visitor's Center located at the Van Deman Gate. This may be done at any time, don't wait until race day!
