Note: This event has already passed.

The Bataan Memorial Death March is to honor the heroic service members who defended the Philippine Islands during World War II, sacrificing their freedom, health, and, in many cases, their lives.

Participants get to choose between two courses: a 14.2 mile (Honorary) and a 26.2 mile (Full) march.

There are two individual & team categories: Light and Heavy, and two divisions: Civilian and Military.

Participants in the Light Category or those choosing to do the Honorary march do not carry a rucksack/backpack while those participants in the Heavy Category must carry a 35 lb. rucksack/backpack.

Entrants for the Military division must have a military ID and must wear their Army Combat Uniform (ACUs) or other service equivalent uniform. If you do not have a military ID or do not wish to wear your uniform you must enter the civilian division.

A team must include exactly 5 people, and only finishes the race if all members finish together, on the principle that one does not leave teammates behind.
